Simone Linehan is a South Australian artist with a passion for colour, nature and sharing what she's learnt with her studio Hubert & Mavis!
A graphic designer for many years, Simone has a mad passion for illustration, painting & visual arts. While she had been drawing since she could hold a pencil, she was discouraged by the rigid structure of school art classes.
It was only after her own children started drawing that her enthusiasm for art and self expression was rekindled. Picking up a pencil again, her whole world became brighter and more fulfilled.
And we are so glad she did!
Simone's art is supporting One Girl and 50% from the profits of all sales in Simone's 'Protea' collection will be donated to this cause. https://www.onegirl.org.au/
At One Girl, they harness the power of education to drive change for girls and their communities.
Imagine a world where all girls have access to quality education. A world where all girls — no matter where they are born or how much money they have — enjoy the same rights and opportunities as boys. A world where every girl has the chance to be the best she can be. The mission for One Girl is to create this world using the power of education. Because educating girls is the number one way to fight climate change, to reduce poverty, and to create a fair and sustainable planet! When you educate a girl, everything changes.
