Jack Devereux

Jack is 24 year old, single line artist, born in Dunedin, living in Australia.

He totally fell for the simplicity and power of the single line style in the late works of Picasso or Matisse.

"I want my art to be like a hip hop freestyle, quick, vulnerable to mistakes, engaging with the crowd and devoid of any second thought on my part. To work from intuition and being ok with the end result. I want to make the process of art as important as the work itself".

Jack's art ‘Tribe’ is supporting MS Australia and 50% of the profits of sales will be donated to this much needed cause.  https://www.msaustralia.org.au

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a condition of the central nervous system, interfering with nerve impulses within the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves. It is characterised by sclerosis a Greek word meaning scars. These scars occur within the central nervous system and depending on where they develop, manifest into various symptoms.

MS affects over 25,600 in Australia and more than two million diagnosed worldwide. Most people are diagnosed between the ages of 20-40, but it can affect younger and older people too. Roughly three times as many women have MS as men.  Sadly, there is currently no known cure for MS.
