Daniel is well known for his former coveted chef’s hat restaurant ‘Huxtable’ in Melbourne, a fine dining restaurant with a menu of small items and share plates influenced by European and Southeast Asia cuisine.
He is owner and creator of Australian burger phenomenon ‘Huxtaburger’ with nine stores across Australia and a rapidly growing franchise operation.
Shamelessly food obsessed, Daniel has been appointed as a key ambassador for Queen Victoria Markets in Melbourne.
Daniel has written two cookbooks, Huxtable and The Huxtaburger Book (both published by Hardie Grant) and has contributed to several other books including Australian best seller, The Great Australian Cookbook and The Great Australian Baking Book.
The Jacob’s Creek Kitchen Collective is a key project Daniel runs with the Jacob’s Creek team each year in conjunction with Masterchef Australia. For more details see here; https://www.danielwilson.co/media
